Time to follow behind Santa in the parade to the Tree Lighting Ceremony. (The SantaMobile broke down, so he had to ride in the back of a goverment pick-up instead)....sorry, budget cuts affect us all, Santa!

Caroline is dancing (the one in focus in white tee shirt in the back). Due to budget cuts, the electric tree (still unlit at that point) hooked up to the palm tree to the left in the background is our sad little tree for Tree Lighting.

Time to tell Santa what we want! He was available for a visit at the library, where, unlike in the States, we had a zero wait and no crowds.

Caroline creates "skis" out of indigenous tropical plant life. I guess you just can't take the Boston out of the girl (even though she is a California native!).
