Christopher and his "solar car," which one would assume would work well in a place so close to the equator, but even my two geeky scientists in the house could not get it going. Batteries were more successful. It is a favorite thing to do on a sunny day, however.

Prepping "kruschiki" (Polish love knot cookies) for the 3rd grade international potluck at school...the same one that ended up in 20 people (out of 100 attendees) vomiting 36 hours later. It wasn't our cookies! They were deep-fried! :)
